With over 30 years experience in equine dentistry, I have established a reputation for a professional, knowledgeable and reliable service. I am fully accredited by the British Equine Veterinary Association (BEVA) and the British Veterinary Dental Association (BVDA), as well as being an examiner in Equine Dentistry for these associations for over 17 years. This means that by using me, you can be assured that I have the necessary skills, training and experience for the job, and can rest assured you are making the best choice for your horse’s health and welfare.

I offer a sympathetic approach, always aiming to reassure owners of any concerns they may have regarding the procedures, to allow for a pleasant and educational experience for both the horse and owner. I am happy to answer any questions that owners may have throughout the process and aim to increase owner awareness about equine dental health.

I have excellent working relationships with local vets, and have access to referral specialists should the need arise.

I have vast experience in treating all types of horses, including those competing at Olympic and international level dressage, eventing and showjumping, racehorses, as well as family ponies and companions and understand the different requirements for each individual.

My experience with horses has been gained over a lifetime working in various equine disciplines and includes running a livery yard and riding holiday centre in Cumbria for 15 years, hunting, eventing and training, and I also still ride as often as time allows.
